Siti is

Lady!

As a disease eats away at her husband’s identity, a devoted wife wrestles with reclaiming her sense of self.

Siti was still a young mother in her mid-30s when an insidious disease fell upon her beloved husband Gary and upended their lives forever.

Dementia, typically seen as an "old-person’s disease", is now afflicting younger Singaporeans, as early as in their late 30s. These young patients – as well as their families – find their lives abruptly interrupted. Many struggle to perform simple daily tasks, like brushing their teeth.

There is no cure.

Lady! is an intimate portrait of love and loss. It is a place for difficult conversations around death and dying. It holds space for tears. More importantly, the film challenges us as a society to rally behind the carers in our midst.
